A power couple on social media is giving us major couple goals right now. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa doesn’t always make headlines for the best of reasons but a couple from Mardan is showing us a softer side.<\/p>\n

Hailing from KP’s Bannu district and stationed in Mardan Dr.Zahidullah and his wife Gul Bano are making waves on social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The duo has set a new benchmark in\u00a0district-level administrative matters. While Dr.Zahidullah serves as the District Police Officer of Mardan(DPO) his wife Gul Bano has already been posted as Assistant Commissioner Mardan for eight months now.<\/p>\n

Talk about civil administration and law enforcement being on the same page. This power couple isn’t just making their native Bannu proud but also making Pakistan proud.<\/p>\n

In fact, Gul Bano was dubbed ‘Fakhar-e-Bannu<\/em>‘ soon after she passed her Competitive Superior Services (CSS) exams.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Independent Urdu<\/a>, Gul Bano said,<\/p>\n

“After CSS I was worried about what the villagers would think. But now they are proud of me and after seeing my photos on social media, they call me \u2018Fakhr-e-Bannu<\/em>\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Gul Bano is actually the first female Assistant Commissioner in the 50-year history of Mardan Tehsil.\u00a0 Together the power couple painted a positive image of local police and law enforcement institutions in their area.<\/p>\n
