Dramas like <strong>Tanhaiyan, Anghan Terha, Dhoop Kinare, Ankahi,<\/strong> etc are still watched and celebrated today. The reason? People could relate to the story and the characters, even decades after these famous dramas first aired.<\/p>\n<p>With more and more releases, the content in Pakistani dramas has gone downhill. Some of the most common themes present in today&#8217;s Pakistani dramas are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sister rivalry,<\/li>\n<li>divorce,<\/li>\n<li>an affair,<\/li>\n<li>second marriage,<\/li>\n<li>jealousy and revenge,<\/li>\n<li>saas-bahu fights over a man who is emotionally incapable of catering to their needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These and a lot of other problematic and disturbing elements have become the new trend in many Pakistani dramas. Just add a pinch of <em>garam masala<\/em> and there you have it, a new concoction of mainstream ideas which we like to call as &#8216;a thrilling upcoming drama.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Recently, ARY released the teasers of its new project <strong><em>Jalan<\/em><\/strong> starring Minal Khan, Emmad Irfani and Areeba Habib.
