When does a comedy gag start getting old? One particular gag that’s still being used in Pakistani shows and movies is having a male actor dress up as a woman for laughs. While it was funny at first, now the practice of crossdressing just seems outdated.<\/p>\n

Many actors have not commented on this issue until now. The actor in question is a man who actually played this kind of a cross-dressing role in various films, recently in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2<\/strong>. We\u2019re, of course, talking about Ahmed Ali Butt.<\/p>\n

The popular actor and rapper recently took to his Instagram to share his opinion on the kind of content being shown on TV these days. Here\u2019s what he said:<\/p>\n

While many people agree with him, some seem to think of him as a hypocrite. Everyone knows that Ahmed Ali Butt played a female character called Maina in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani<\/strong> 2.<\/strong> It was widely lauded by the public. People are arguing that the character didn\u2019t seem to raise objections back then.<\/p>\n

So why now?<\/p>\n

That\u2019s not all. During the filming of the movie, Ahmed Ali Butt talked to a local publication and said he was \u2018absolutely up for it\u2019 when writer Vasay Chaudhry informed him, and how he had always wanted to do such work.<\/p>\n
