In only 18 days, the Urdu dubbed version of the show Dirili\u015f: Ertu\u011frul<\/strong> hit 100 million views on YouTube. Since then, Pakistanis and Turks have established a close relationship. With more and more fans appreciating the contents of the show, actors like Engin Altan D\u00fczyatan have expressed their gratitude for the love they’re receiving from Pakistani fans.<\/p>\n

Earlier Engin Altan, who played the role of Ertugrul in the show, took to Instagram to thank his fans from Pakistan.<\/p>\n

I love you, Pakistan. Thank you for watching us, I hope I can come to meet you all one day.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Other celebrities who were a part of the hit historical series also showed their love for fans in the country. Mehmet Bozdag, who is the screenwriter of Dirili\u015f: Ertu\u011frul<\/strong>, opines that Muslims should come together to work not just for politics but also for arts and culture.<\/p>\n

I am surprised that we did not make any collaborations till this day because we call each other brother countries.<\/p>\n

However, we have never signed a deal in the field of culture and arts. So then where is the fellowship?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Engin Altan spoke about the success surrounding this show. He said he anticipated that the show was going to be a memorable one, but didn’t realize how successful it was going to be.<\/p>\n

When we were filming, we knew from the beginning that it was going to be a memorable series. However, even this much attention? Even I didn\u2019t imagine. We are very grateful.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He said he knows that Turkey has attracted a lot of attention because of Ertugrul.<\/p>\n

We know for a fact that Turkish popularity increased after the TV series, which is great news. We are really glad.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Addressing the fact that Ertugrul has become hit in Pakistan, Engin said that the people of Turkey and Pakistan enjoy well-crafted stories. He said,<\/p>\n

I think both Turkish people and Pakistani people love well-crafted stories. Turkish series are successful at conveying a touching sense of drama to the audience.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He also explained how he loves the character that he played on the show.<\/p>\n

I love Ertu\u011frul Ghazi\u2019s vision, strength, purpose in life and all of his values. He is an admirable person. I\u2019m really happy that I could portray his life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
