K-pop girl group BLACKPINK<\/strong> is not only breaking records but is also setting new ones in the music industry.<\/p>\n

The girl group now holds the title for the ‘the most-watched video on YouTube’ with their latest song How You Like That<\/em>. The previous record-holder was Korean group BTS<\/strong> who gathered 74.6 million views in 24 hours with their music video Boy With Lyv<\/em> featuring Halsey. That video was first released in April 2019.<\/p>\n

However, BLACKPINK<\/strong> has conveniently topped that number and amassed 86.3 million views within 24 hours of the release of HYLT<\/em>.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only that, but the HYLT<\/em> has also become the fastest video in YouTube history to hit 100 million views – with 94 million in the first 30 hours. The song was released on 26th June and within a time frame of 1.5 days, it achieved the milestone. Whereas BTS<\/strong>‘ Boy With Luv<\/em> MV had taken 1.6 days.<\/p>\n

BLACKPINK Makes A Comeback<\/h3>\n

The girl group has reclaimed the title for 24-hour views on YouTube from BTS<\/strong> after previously setting that mark in April 2019 with Kill This Love<\/em> which garnered 56.7 million views in its first 24 hours. The song topped Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next<\/em>.<\/p>\n

They have also made several appearances in American shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/strong> and The Late Late Show with James Corden<\/strong>. They are the first-ever K-pop girl group who performed at the 2019 Coachella music festival.
