On this day four years ago, Pakistan lost one of the most prominent philanthropist and humanitarian figure in history \u2013 Abdul Sattar Edhi.<\/p>\n

The man was renowned not just in Pakistan but all around the globe for his humanitarian efforts and the countless innocent children he saved.<\/p>\n

Edhi dedicated his entire life to provide shelter to poor families and children who had been. Today, netizens on Twitter paid tribute to Abdul Sattar Edhi on the four year anniversary of his passing.<\/p>\n

Born in 1928, in Bantva, India, Abdul Sattar Edhi is still mourned today. The renowned philanthropist served Pakistan with utmost humility and his services to humanity have not been forgotten.<\/p>\n

He established his own ambulance service and made various shelter homes that are a testament to his contribution to society. Edhi stood with the weak and downtrodden while others, including government officials, went about their daily lives.<\/p>\n
