The Dilruba<\/em><\/strong> actress had been diagnosed with adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML)<\/a> some 10 years ago. She faced a long hard battle from transfusion rejection to losing her parents. However, her husband remained her anchor during this whole time.<\/p>\n \u201cI needed a bone marrow transplant but none of my siblings matched. However, I was grateful to find 19 donors internationally. But my body couldn\u2019t accept the blood and I fell further ill after the transfusion.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n The Tamana<\/em><\/strong> actress is the daughter of veteran actors Rizwan and Tahira Wasti.
