Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many movies have shifted their release dates to preserve the cinema experience for their viewers. In the long list of movies that were delayed are also A Quiet Place Part 2<\/strong> and Top Gun: Maverick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

While both A Quiet Place’s sequel and Top Gun were set to release on September 6th and December 23rd of this year, the studio behind these films think it’s best to hold on to its release.<\/p>\n

While some movies, like Disney’s Artemis Fowl and<\/strong> Hamilton<\/strong>, have been released on streaming channels like Disney Plus. Chris Aronson and Mark Viane, Paramount’s presidents said:<\/p>\n

We truly believe that there is no movie-viewing experience like the one enjoyed in theatres.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The production cost for Top Gun alone cost about $150 million, which is why it is being assumed that Paramount is waiting to cash in on the extremely profitable ticket sales.<\/p>\n

While cinemas have been shut down to contain the spread of the virus, many movies [like the Mulan remake] have also been postponed indefinitely. Movies like\u00a0new James Bond <\/strong>and Peter Rabbit 2\u00a0<\/strong>have also shifted their release dates.<\/p>\n

Viewers and fans have been waiting patiently for A Quiet Place Part 2<\/strong> and Top Gun<\/strong> and are hoping that no more changes will be made to their release dates.<\/p>\n
