As reported earlier, the Railway Sampars Union allegedly showed severe resistance over her appointment. They threatened to protest against the admin if the notification was not canceled.<\/p>\n
As a result, the Pakistan Railways\u2019 Administration surrendered before them and immediately withdrew the notification of entrusting Syeda Marzia Zahra with the charge of station manager. This was in addition to her own responsibility as assistant transportation officer-1 (ATO-1), PR\u2019s Lahore Division.<\/p>\n

According to Independent Urdu<\/a>, the station masters were against hiring a CSS officer for the post of Lahore Station Manager. Union Central Chairman Muhammad Irfan said it was against the law and the civil rights of station masters.<\/p>\n However, Ms. Zahra said that she would continue supervising the office of station manager being ATO-1 of the PR\u2019s Lahore division under the law.<\/p>\n “Though I cannot look after the post now under the new notification, I being an ATO-1, can exercise my authority to supervise this post. And I will do this.
