Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson has been recognized as the world\u2019s highest-paid actor of the year by Forbes magazine. This is the second time the popular actor and former wrestler has finished on top of the list.<\/p>\n

According to the annual tally made by Forbes magazine, WWE wrestler turned Hollywood movie star Dwayne Johnson or better known as \u2018The Rock\u2019 managed to secure the top spot on the list of the world\u2019s highest-paid male actors for a second successive year. The Rock managed to earn roughly $87.5 million from June 1st of last year to June 1, 2020. This includes his $23.5 million from his deal with Netflix streaming service to star in their movie Red Notice<\/strong>. Not just that, he also benefited greatly from his popular \u2018Project Rock\u2019 witness wear collection for Under Armour Inc.<\/p>\n

Dwayne Johnson\u2019s co-star from Red Notice<\/strong>, Ryan Reynolds, finished second on the list. He earned $20 million from the film, plus another $20 million from Netflix\u2019s film Six Underground<\/strong>. His total earning of the year came to $71.5 million in total.<\/p>\n

In third place, is actor and producer Mark Wahlberg, who made $58 million and starred in the action-comedy by Netflix titled Spenser Confidential<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fourth and fifth place are actors Ben Affleck and Vin Diesel, who earned $55 and $54 million respectively.<\/p>\n

Other notable names on the list include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Will Smith, Adam Sandler, Jackie Chan, and even Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.<\/p>\n
