Westridge police in Rawalpindi arrested a man for allegedly raping and sexually assaulting his 11-year-old sister-in-law. According to reports, he was caught red-handed by the girl’s mother.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, a police spokesperson reported the case. The girl’s mother had stepped out of her house for some work. Upon returning she found her son-in-law sexually assaulting her 11-year-old daughter. Although the suspect fled the scene, she took to the local police station to file an FIR.<\/p>\n
A medical examination had been conducted, which confirmed that the little girl was raped. And an FIR [first information report] was filed against the suspect. This led to his arrest in Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n
Police will now take the case to the court, to obtain physical remand and match the DNA samples with those found on the 11-year-old.<\/p>\n
No further details have been disclosed at this point by the Rawalpindi police.<\/p>\n
