<\/p>\nFor the very first time, the South Waziristan district in Pakistan\u2019s northwestern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province has appointed a woman as head of the Education Department. This is a huge step forward for the area which has the lowest female literacy rate in the entire country.<\/p>\n

Meet Noor Khadija, an educator who aims to bring every girl from her district to school. Belonging to a family of educators herself, Noor has been a well-respected member for the education department, being associated with them for over ten years.<\/p>\n
The motivated educator has finally earned recognition for her time and efforts as she has been appointed as the new head of the Education Department.<\/p>\n

It is the first time in South Waziristan\u2019s history that a woman has held the office for the Education Department.<\/p>\n Speaking to a media outlet, Noor Khadija shared her desire to serve her community, especially the young girls who are missing out on education.
