But what if the brand all of a sudden says it&#8217;s not Halal?<\/p>\n<p>While a lot of people enjoy this sweet delicacy, some have their doubts regarding the &#8216;Halal tag&#8217; on their products. In order to clear the doubts of thousands of people, a Twitterati went ahead and asked the brand itself.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"r-18u37iz\">&#8220;<a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1n1174f r-1loqt21 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NutellaUSA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-focusable=\"true\">@NutellaUSA<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> are your products halal<\/span>?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What came next, left everyone puzzled. Soon, the brand stepped in and cleared all the misunderstanding saying that most of their industrial plants are certified Halal &#8216;by a third party&#8217;. They apologized for the misleading tweet and laid out the facts.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">&#8220;All Nutella sold worldwide is suitable for Halal consumption. Over 90% of the industrial plants producing Nutella are already Halal certified by a third party and we are in the process of certifying the remaining plants.
