Since the coronavirus lockdown, Pakistani cinemas have seen a drastic downfall. But now that things are slowly getting back to normal, and cinemas are starting to open up, great things are coming their way.<\/p>\n
The first Pakistani movie to be released since the lockdown is none other than filmmakers Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza’s\u00a0Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad<\/strong>. The movie’s release date was moved from Eid ul Azha 2020 because of the extension of the lockdown period.<\/p>\n But now both Nabeel and Fizza believe it’s about time they release the much-anticipated movie. In an interview, Nabeel asked:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n People are going to restaurants and malls. Why wouldn\u2019t they go to the movies?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n And Fizza added saying:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We may have fewer screens now but if local content doesn\u2019t release because of this, there will be even less screens by next year. We can\u2019t let that happen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Remembering the time they released\u00a0Na Maloom Afraad<\/strong>, to limited screens in 2014, Fizza said:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And yes, there may be less cinemas but that will be the case even next year. Why wait? I do think that people will come and see the movie. We are all social animals and we naturally gravitate towards going out, meeting people and doing things together.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n The movie\u00a0Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad<\/strong> features Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa as lead actors. The latter will be seen as a cop.
