Globally acclaimed Turkish series Dirilis Ertugrul<\/em><\/strong> is now set to hit screens in Azerbaijan. The Islamic period drama will also be broadcasted on Azerbaijan’s state television channel.<\/p>\n

According to a Turkish News Agency<\/a>, in a statement, state broadcaster of Azerbaijan, AZTV said that they have acquired the rights to broadcast the drama series. The drama began to gain popularity in Azerbaijan in 2014 when it was first released.<\/p>\n

According to the Azeri state channel, they are in the process of dubbing and editing 150 episodes of the drama. AZTV will air Dirilis Ertugrul<\/em><\/strong> five days a week.<\/p>\n

When Pakistan’s state broadcaster, Pakistan Television Network (PTV) began airing the Turkish period drama, it was also aired five days a week. Recently the show’s air time has been reduced. Along with Urdu-dubbed episodes, subtitles are also provided.<\/p>\n

Ertugrul Ghazi<\/em><\/strong>, the Urdu-dubbed version of Dirilis Ertugrul<\/em><\/strong>, was aired in on state television in Pakistan on the directives of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. The period drama follows a pre-Ottoman era to the establishment of the Turkish-Muslim Caliphate.<\/p>\n

The series is globally acclaimed for presenting a positive image of Muslims and highlighting core Islamic values. No wonder the series has broken records of popularity in the Muslim world, particularly Pakistan.<\/p>\n
