The most recent Pakistani show,\u00a0Churails<\/strong>, saw massive success on Zee5, and now another Zindagi Original series Ek Jhooti Love Story<\/strong> is set to release in October.<\/p>\n

Zee5 is an Indian video-on-demand service headed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Its upcoming show, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, will be starring Madiha Imam, Kinza Razzak, Kiran Haq, Fawad Khan, Beo Zafar and Mohammad Ahmad, and Bilal Khan.<\/p>\n

The show was shot in Karachi, Pakistan. And the story of the drama involves a role played by Bilal, who will be seen as a typical Karachi boy.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll be playing the role of a typical Karachi boy with his usual dreams and aspirations. Just the normalcy of it is fun to explore as an actor and of course a new learning experience for me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is a social comedy-drama, and according to the writer, this show does not have a specific number of episodes. She says this gives her the freedom to experiment with genres.<\/p>\n

It deals with societal pressures and expectations, love in the age of the internet, etc. and while dealing with these subjects the tone and feel of the series is light and easy to watch. This was a genre that neither of us had really done so it was a challenge to get the tone just right!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have worked with Zee Zindagi on Lala Begum before so I knew the team well. They have always been very encouraging to showcase Pakistani stories and talent across the border and it was a relationship of mutual respect and creative collaboration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
