The 150 submissions came from Pakistani writers in the United States, Canada, elsewhere in the Middle East, and of course Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>About the Salam Award<\/h3>\n<p>Established in 2017,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thesalamaward.com\/\" target=\"external-links-new-window\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-keep-unchecked=\"no\">The Salam Award<\/a> is a short story contest in the science fiction genre.
