<\/p>\nLahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh has found himself in hot waters again as leaked audio of him abusing a woman, who needed his help, went viral on social media. The CCPO claims that this is another conspiracy against him.<\/p>\n

Not too long ago, the same police officer was criticized for shaming the victim of the infamous Lahore Motorway incident on TV. While many people sympathized with her and demanded justice, a certain CCPO decided to pass comment on the victim for traveling alone and not being \u2018well-prepped\u2019.<\/p>\n
Following his insensitive remarks, the CCPO had been put on blast by the public and had to issue an apology before the Senate committee.<\/p>\n

CCPO Lahore Gets Scolded By Senate Committee for Not Doing His Job<\/a><\/p>\n While the rapists behind the motorway incident have now been apprehended and Umar Sheikh has put the whole scandal behind him, it seems like controversy has a way of finding the CCPO.<\/p>\n The police officer has landed himself in another controversy once again when leaked audio of him abusing a woman on the phone went viral.<\/p>\n According to the audio, the woman asked him for an \u2018impartial\u2019 probe into the detention of her husband in a \u2018fake\u2019 narcotics case.<\/p>\n The woman claims that her husband was picked up by a sub-inspector (SI) from their Raiwind residence. In return, the SI demanded Rs. 3 million as bribe for her husband’s safe release.<\/p>\n The Lahore SSP (Discipline) and Saddar SP investigated the matter in two separate reports and declared that the woman\u2019s allegations were false.
