In an attempt to take a cool selfie, a 16-year-old girl lost her life after drowning in Kunhar River of Kaghan Valley. The girl, identified as Rimsha, was from Lahore and she was visiting the valley as a tourist with her family.<\/p>\n
She was rescued by the local drivers, however, by the time they reached the hospital, she had already died.<\/p>\n
SHO Kaghan Police Station, Ghulam Mustafa said,<\/p>\n
“The local divers rescued the girl from the river and shifted her to the nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Last week, a similar case of drowning was reported in the Thakot area of Sindh. A boy named Muhammad Hussain had drowned in the Indus River, however, his body has still not been recovered from the mighty river.<\/p>\n
