With many debates circling around our poor environmental conditions and depleting natural resources, the notion of sustainable living has become more common. The fashion industry as a whole has been called out for its over the top fast-moving trends and contribution to the Greenhouse effect. The issue is so serious, that now Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha has decided to weigh in.<\/p>\n

Mansha Pasha dishes out some advice<\/h3>\n

Taking to her Twitter account, the 33-year-old actress from\u00a0Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida<\/strong> said she doesn’t understand why sustainable fashion has become a trend now. Is it because it sounds so fancy?<\/p>\n

She adds that sustainable fashion is nothing new. We desis have been doing it for ages! Here’s how:<\/p>\n

Sustainable fashion\/living:
\nDont know why this has become a trend because its been given a fancy name. Its basically what parents in the subcontinent have always taught their children: Don’t waste things, use clothes differently on various occasions!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She further expressed how being one of the three sisters in her household, she always shared all of her clothes.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Zindagi Gulzar Hai<\/strong> actress revealed how at the set of the show the actresses shared the wardrobe to represent our true culture.<\/p>\n

Growing up my sisters and i always wore each others clothes multiple times.
\nThe same was done on the Zindagi Gulzar Hai set to give the true vibe of a desi household. Some scenes, I wore Sanam’s clothes, she wore mine or Sana’s.
