The 35-year-old Pakistani actress, singer, and former model, Sanam Saeed<\/a>, is the leading star in a short feature film ‘Ab Buss<\/strong>‘. The film was uploaded on YouTube on November 6th, and it was inspired by the infamous motorway incident. In a recent interview with ARY News<\/a>, Sanam talked about her stance on the safety of women in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the film itself, the Deedan<\/strong> actress says it is an important narrative for our society:<\/p>\n

Considering the motorway incident and all the other incidents that followed soon after regarding women being abducted by random strangers on the road I think this narrative is an eye-opener.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She further added that when she read the script the actress thought it was brilliantly written yet simple. Sanam Saeed also shared how she tries to keep herself safe in these troubling times.<\/p>\n

My car windows are slightly tinted and I know where all the ranger or police stops are. I also have emergency numbers on speed dial.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sanam also added that while she doesn’t carry a pepper spray herself, the\u00a0Aakhri Station<\/strong> actress thinks it is a smart choice.<\/p>\n

A friend\u2019s father got her a pepper spray to keep in her bag which I thought was brilliant and much needed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Addressing young girls who want to be independent and get exposure, she says it is important to know your surroundings.<\/p>\n

To the young girls who are starting out their dreams but might hesitate\u2026 There are all kinds of predators out there, so there\u2019s no point in remaining naive or clueless about the harsh realities we as women face at home at times or outside of the house.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the\u00a0Dil Banjaara<\/strong> actress, it is important for every female to have a strong and unbroken aura.<\/p>\n

Be alert, not oblivious, and have your keys ready at all times. Make your own aura too; don\u2019t be vulnerable and scared. Be confident and assured because that vibe scares predators away.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
