<\/p>\nPakistani-British boxer Amir Khan and his family got into a dangerous car accident on a UK motorway. Amir lost control of his vehicle due to the wet surface as the car crashed it into a barrier. Fortunately, Khan and his family didn’t sustain any serious injury.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old former boxing world champion was with his wife Faryal Makhdoom and their daughter Lamaisah when accident happened. Fortunately the family escaped injuries as the car did a complete 360 on the motorway. According to Khan, he and his family were traveling to London for a TV show.<\/p>\n

Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom to Launch Reality Show<\/a><\/p>\n The boxer posted images of the car on social media, informing his fans that no one was hurt.<\/p>\n “Alhamdulillah everyone’s safe. Lamaisah was asleep at the time in the back of the car but she’s okay. Faryal was sitting in the front with me, she’s okay too. More shocked than anything, the car looks very bad \u2014 the front, sides back are all damaged. The car literally did a 360. But I’m glad that everyone’s safe \u2014 we just have to get on with our normal days now and get home,” Khan said on his social media account.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Everyone is glad for the safety of Khan and his family. However, this is not the first time the boxer has found himself in a car accident. In 2007, he was convicted of reckless driving and was given a six-month ban, including a fine of \u00a31,000 after he accidentally mowed down a pedestrian.<\/p>\n The very next year, he was fined and banned again from the roads for 42 days after being accused of speeding at a motorway. In 2009, he was accused of being involved in a crash with a young cyclist. However, no action was taken against Khan as the police concluded that no one was to be blamed.<\/p>\n We are glad that Khan and his family are safe though we do hope that Amir let’s Faryal drive more, given his past experiences.
