Balochistan Chief Secretary is upset with Makran Commissioner for not being a ‘good host’ to Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to Turbat University. He wrote a strongly worded letter to the Commissioner on his shortcomings, including serving a Pepsi\/Coke that wasn’t even chilled! (How horrible!)<\/p>\n

On Friday, PM Imran Khan visited the Turbat district to inaugurate recent development projects for the city. During his visit, Imran Khan stopped by Turbat University, which was appreciated by the university students. However, just days after his visit, the Balochistan chief secretary wrote a letter to the Makran commissioner, demanding him to explain \u201cthe shortcomings\u201d that were observed during PM Imran Khan’s visit.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the commissioner \u2014 who was responsible for supervising the arrangements made during Imran Khan’s visit \u2014 was asked to explain why each and every instruction passed on to him was not obeyed in \u201cletter and spirit\u201d. One of the most “noteworthy” complaints was that the Prime Minister of Pakistan was served a soft drink that wasn’t chilled enough! (How can our Kaptaan have faith in us, if we can’t even get him a ‘thanda Coke’!)<\/p>\n

There were also complaints of a ‘dirty pathway’ to the washroom among others. Check it out:<\/p>\n

Moreover, there were complaints directed at the Turbat\u2019s DC and SSP, who violated protocols by \u201cwalking too close to the Prime Minister.” That’s not all! “The SSP Turbat consistently tried to engage the PM in chit chat.” The Balochistan Chief Secretary is seeking answers on the above-mentioned \u201cshortcomings\u201d from the commissioner within seven days.<\/p>\n

According to Dr. Arsalan Khalid, the PM has nothing to do with this letter. He said it was a matter of the provincial government.<\/p>\n
