Stars Sajal and Ahad Raza Mir are the talk of the town ever since the two tied the knot earlier this year. Fans have been wanting to see this newlywed couple have a beautiful photoshoot. Wishes were fulfilled with this endearing shoot when renowned designer Zara Shahjahan promoted her latest collection featuring the two stars.<\/p>\n

Zara Shahjahan’s latest bridal shoot features a classical love story theme complete with gorgeous antique aesthetics. While everyone enjoyed the bridal shoot, some people noticed that the ‘original’ theme is a bit ‘too inspired’ by the Netflix series A Suitable Boy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Based on a novel by Vikram Seth, A Suitable Boy<\/strong> is a Netflix and BBC One series that is a coming of age story of Lata Mehra and her brother Maan, set during the early days of India-Pakistan partition.<\/p>\n

The recent photoshoot featuring Sajal and Ahad, and the Netflix show feature uncanny similarities in terms of the period-specific visuals, colour palette and of course the background is reminiscent of Saeeda Bai’s (played by Tabu) ‘haveli’.<\/p>\n

From the wooden lattice windows, the mihrab<\/em> arches, the furniture, the birdcages to the famous jhoola<\/em> from the series, Zara Shahjahan’s shoot feels like reimagination of the Indian web series.<\/p>\n

If that’s not enough, Zara Shahjahan even features Eman Suleman as another character. And veteran actress Resham can be seen tutoring Eman and even playing the ‘sitar’ instrument in one of the photos like an elderly courtesan.<\/p>\n
