A stage actress named Iqra was shot and injured in Lahore’s area of Sabzazar. She says that the attempt on her life is due to a theater owner getting aggravated by her turning down a contract.<\/p>\n
24NewsHD TV <\/a>reported that Iqra left her house located in the Sabzazar area with her brother-in-law (husband\u2019s brother) Samran Shahzad on a motorbike to buy some breakfast. They said the Iqra received a bullet in her leg. The injured stage actress was moved to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n The stage actress told police that Malik Naseer and his three unidentified accomplices were her attackers. She informed the police that she had a contract with Sanam Theatre owner Malik Naseer. Yet when she decided not to act in his stage drama Malik Naseer began threatening her.<\/p>\n According to police, Malik Naseer successfully fled the scene of the attack.
