The first and only Pakistani to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Science, Dr. Abdus Salam has been bestowed with a big honor by the government of the United Kingdom (UK). The British government has designated the residence of Nobel laureate as a national heritage site.<\/p>\n
Dr. Abdus Salam won the Nobel Prize for his contribution to the electroweak unification theory. Now his house in Britain has been declared a national heritage site. The globally celebrated scientist lived in London from 1957 till his death in 1996.<\/p>\n
