Veteran film actress Firdous Begum has passed away at the age of 75. The news of her death was confirmed by her family on Wednesday (today).<\/p>\n
According to the reports, the actress was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Lahore for the last three days after suffering from brain hemorrhage.<\/p>\n
Her family told media outlets that Firdous Begum was rushed to the hospital in critical condition on Monday.<\/p>\n
Born on August 04, 1947, the legendary actress started her career with Fanoos<\/em> in the year 1963.<\/p>\n She was the superstar of 1960s and gained popularity through the character of \u2018Heer\u2019 in Lollywood\u2019s blockbuster Heer Ranjha<\/em>. Some of her other notable works include Khandaan<\/em>, Malang<\/em>, Lai Laag<\/em>, and Aurat<\/em>.<\/p>\n She featured in more than 150 films, including 130 Punjabi, 20 Urdu and three Pushto films.
