Audiences loved the character mainly because of the charismatic performance by Jamie Dornan. In a recent interview for his upcoming film Wild Mountain Thyme, the 38-year-old revealed he struggled to get into character as Christian Grey.<\/p>\n

“Oftentimes, I felt quite uncomfortable, being very honest with you, playing Christian Grey. I felt like it was very far away from me, and sometimes, I struggled with it,” the Irish actor shared.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jamie Dornan admitted that he found it difficult to relate or enter the mind of Christian Grey. He stated that Grey is someone who is super-confident, aggressive and controlling, which he isn’t.<\/p>\n

The actor said it was a struggle to spend four years inside the headspace of Christian Grey. However, Jamie said he never surrendered himself to Christian\u2019s psyche.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old is set to play a lonely and socially-awkward farmer opposite Emily Blunt. For fans of the Fifty Shades<\/strong> franchise, this will be a whole new experience as the film offers a different kind of romance between Jamie Dornan and Emily Blunt in Wild Mountain Thyme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
