The iconic poet played an important part in the country&#8217;s freedom as his words continue to resonate within our hearts. In an effort to pay tribute to the great man, local gardeners in Lahore made a big sculpture, using their own money and labor. They presented the sculpture to the park in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. While we admire the time and effort spent by these local laborers to do their best to honor Allama Iqbal, this was not the finest of works.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-298266\" src=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/332969_9064450_updates.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/332969_9064450_updates.jpg 700w, https:\/\/propakistani.pk\/lens\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/332969_9064450_updates-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The picture of the statue started making rounds on social media. Netizens trolled the design and ordered for it&#8217;s removal as it looked nothing like Allama Iqbal. Spokesperson for the park, Nadia Tufail, confirms that the sculpture is no longer on display.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dear, this is prepared by maalis at their own , they made it in shere love for Iqbal and to pay homage from their heart.
