A lot of people claimed that the interview would have been extremely profitable for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they ‘chose to sell the details on TV’. But how much of it is true?<\/p>\n
On March 5, the Wall Street Journal<\/a> revealed that the television network paid a license fee between $7 and $9 million for rights to broadcast the interview with Oprah Winfrey. The advertisers, on the other hand, had to pay $325,000 for 30 seconds of commercial time during the two-hour interview.<\/p>\n It is being reported that Oprah’s own production company, Harpo Productions, will benefit from the special broadcast.
