Maya Ali said she strongly believed in the rights of women. Every woman should be given the freedom of choice and complete access to all rights.<\/p>\n

“I do respect every woman\u2019s right but I think that it is better that a woman should raise her voice for her rights while staying at home rather than going on streets or somewhere else,\u201d said Maya.<\/p>\n

Maya has always supported the narrative of empowerment but for her heading to the streets is not the right way to put forward one’s demands. Many women would find her views on Aurat March problematic because the voices of many women are suppressed in their own homes. And the same women have to take to the streets to claim their rights.<\/p>\n

Maya Ali reveals her point of view about social media<\/h2>\n

Discussing the impact of social media, Maya Ali said that social media does affect her personally. “I always say that celebrities are public figures, not public properties. One can criticize their work but not their personal choices,” said Maya.<\/p>\n

The starlet told Ahsan khan that people sometimes spill a lot of venom on social media and that hurts her.<\/p>\n
