Punjab: A young couple from Samundri committed suicide after their families’ disapproval of their marriage. Both the girl and the boy consumed poisonous pills and took their own lives.<\/p>\n
According to the reports<\/a>, the girl was just 17 years of age and she took this grave step after her lover’s family did not approve of him getting married out of his own will.<\/p>\n Identified as Sanam, she was the daughter of Piran and a resident of Chak No 138GB. She was in love with Rana Akash, a resident of the same village and the two wanted to get married. However, Rana’s family did not agree.<\/p>\n Due to the rejection, the deranged couple decided to take their lives by consuming poisonous pills. They were rushed to Allied Hospital Faisalabad where Sanam died while Rana’s condition was stated to be critical.<\/p>\n Police handed over the girl\u2019s body to her family after taking necessary action. According to the doctors of said hospital, Rana’s condition was in danger.
