He was on his way to Kartarpur from Amritsar when his car collided with a truck and the singer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/india-news\/punjabi-singer-diljaan-dies-in-car-accident-near-amritsar-2402279\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">died on the spot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Among other celebrities and singers mourning his sudden death, Atif Aslam also expressed his shock and grief in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>The singing sensation took to his Twitter and wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Shocked and extremely saddened to know about the passing away of Diljaan. A life too vibrant lost too soon.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He also extended his deepest and sincerest condolences to the singer&#8217;s grieving family.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I would like to offer my deepest and sincerest condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Shocked and extremely saddened to know about the passing away of Diljan.
