In a recent live telephonic session<\/a>, PM Khan answered the citizen’s questions and talked about various issues.<\/p>\n

Among all the questions, the prime minister was also asked why he decided to bring Turkish dramas into Pakistan. We all know how Turkish historical dramas, especially Dirili\u015f: Ertu\u011frul<\/em> became the nation’s favorite series within a few days.<\/p>\n

Answering the question, the premier said that bringing western and Indian content to Pakistan would have adverse impacts on society. Which is why he introduced Turkish dramas to enlighten our people.<\/p>\n

He also talked about the rise in the crimes against women and children and stressed\u00a0the need for a \u201cholistic approach\u201d to eliminate these crimes.<\/p>\n

While answering another caller, PM Khan maintained that his political party had brought about a “democratic change” unlike the revolutions in France and Iran.<\/p>\n

He said that PTI had defeated a two-party system in Pakistan and helped new people take up ministries. This has helped to curb down corruption, which he termed as a “cancer”. He called for public support to fight this \u201ccancer\u201d.<\/p>\n

“This is the change,” he said, adding that now, a government was in place which did not tolerate corruption and was not willing to let the menace go unchecked.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
