Here are 3 underrated dramas of 2021 that should receive more love than what they are getting. From strong plots to well-developed characters, these plays promise a unique experience to viewers.<\/a><\/p>\n

1.Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi<\/h2>\n

For the first time, we’ve seen a drama that intelligently tackles the issue of human trafficking. There is no overhype action or intense emotional breakdowns. Directed by Kashif Nisar, Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi<\/em> is the story of Yumna Zaidi and she plays the part to perfection. The story is based on multiple causes.<\/p>\n

It has three major tracks: Human trafficking, child abuse, and a young girl who wants to become a cricketer. The drama has even been banned by PEMRA once but thankfully the ban was short-lived. If you want to enjoy solid performances then this is a must-watch.<\/p>\n

2. Qayamat<\/h2>\n

Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer starter Qayamat<\/em> started on a very regressive note. We felt it is a typical story about how women are tortured by their husbands. On the contrary, Qayamat’s storyline evolved greatly with time. Through Neelam’s character, we see a woman who stands up for her rights and speaks her mind. She does not tolerate injustices and is actually kick ass! You should definitely watch this drama if you’re a Neelam fan.<\/p>\n

3. Raqeeb Se<\/h2>\n

Raqeeb Se<\/em> is a story about love but it is still not a cliche. Penned by Bee Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar, the play discusses how people of all age groups can fall in love, how women can actually support each other instead of maligning characters, and how one can fall in love more than once. It questions the pivotal conventions of our society in a bold yet subtle manner.<\/p>\n

The chemistry between Sania Saeed and Hadiqa Kiani is wonderful. The character of Insha played by Faryal Mehmood shows us what a strong independent woman looks like.
