The general public was outraged after Mohammad Naveed, a resident of Bhagwari mohalla in Rawalpindi was seen brutally physically assaulting his minor stepson in a viral video. The child could be heard screaming as the man beat him with a piece of rubber pipe.<\/p>\n

On the CPO’s directives, the concerned police traced the man and registered an FIR against him. Dawn News<\/a> reports, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Abdul Ghafoor of Banni police traced the person and recovered the victim.<\/p>\n According to ASI Abdul Ghafoor, after he reached Mohammad Naveed’s house, it was revealed that he is married to Rukiya Naveed after the death of her first husband. He said in the FIR that the boy;<\/p>\n “Mohammad Tayab, was from Rukiya\u2019s first husband, and lived with her.
