[Video]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ramazan special drama <em>Chupke Chupke<\/em> was a massive success. From direction to acting and the comic timing, we loved to see the characters goofing around on our television screens.<\/p>\n<p>While the show was loved and praised by the viewers, there have been talks about the second season as well. But is there a sequel in the works? Director Danish Nawaz addressed the rumors in a recent interview and said that nothing has been confirmed yet.<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s not completely off the table either. If the script is good and has potential, we might be able to see <em>Chupke Chupke<\/em> season 2 soon. He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Honestly, I haven&#8217;t given much thought to it but I can&#8217;t say anything yet. If the script has potential, then we will definitely have a sequel. But if we feel that the story is getting dragged, then there won&#8217;t be a season 2. However, discussions are ongoing on this matter.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<blockquote  \r\n\t\tclass=\"instagram-media\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CO4t0Jshok1\/\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-version=\"14\" \r\n\t\tstyle=\"max-width:540px; min-width:300px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\r\n\t<\/blockquote>\r\n\t<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\r\n\r\n\t\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Danish Nawaz had talked about his directing stint\u00a0with <a href=\"https:\/\/tribune.com.pk\/story\/2299199\/from-playing-sidekicks-to-directing-chupke-chupke-danish-nawazs-humbling-journey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Express Tribune<\/a>. He said he didn&#8217;t want to be typecast as a comedian and hence, he returned to directing with <em>Chupke Chupke<\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhen you are showcased in roles from a single genre \u2013 in my case, comedy \u2013 it is very easy to be labelled as a comedian. I didn\u2019t want that, \u2026 It was obvious the audience loved my work as an actor in sitcoms. But I wanted to do more than that, I wanted to experiment.
