The sight of the Ertu\u011frul star in a period piece has fans bubbling with anticipation. Fans are excited about the prospect of seeing him in ‘medieval action’ again.<\/p>\n

Previously, Engin Altan Duzyatan confirmed that he signed this new project. He shared the news on social media that shooting for Barbaroslar<\/em><\/strong> commenced.<\/p>\n

Now he even gave us a glimpse of the action yet to come.<\/p>\n

He also shared a picture of the clapperboard marked with the name of his upcoming historical drama Barbaroslar<\/em><\/strong>. The series will follow the adventures of Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha, the first Captain of the Ottoman Empire.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that shooting for the historical drama was stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after mid-May, shooting commenced for the project. Producers reportedly<\/a> plan to get this series on-screen by September.<\/p>\n

Many foreign experts<\/a> that have worked in TV series such as Vikings<\/em><\/strong> and Homeland<\/em><\/strong>, came to Turkey to create the action series.<\/p>\n
