The actress made a comment about women doing everything on their own in the US but it was low key ignorant of her to say that Pakistani women need helpers\/maids to do household chores.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Do Bol<\/em> star is currently in the US with her family. She is enjoying her vacations and also posts videos and photos on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/hiramaniofficial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a>. Hira shared a new video in which she could be seen at the gas station, filling up her fuel.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, she said that women in the US do everything on their own. We, on the other hand, live in a &#8216;privileged&#8217; country where we can just call our house helpers to do household chores for us. We are also &#8216;privileged&#8217; that petrol pumps here have designated workers to fill up fuel in our cars. Not only that, she captioned it,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;<em>Apna<\/em><em>\u00a0khana khud garam kero<\/em>. [Heat up your own food]&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<blockquote  \r\n\t\tclass=\"instagram-media\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CQb-ng2Hsno\/\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-version=\"14\" \r\n\t\tstyle=\"max-width:540px; min-width:300px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\r\n\t<\/blockquote>\r\n\t<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\r\n\r\n\t\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is very ignorant of her to say that Pakistani women can&#8217;t do their work on their own. In fact, the &#8216;privilege&#8217; of keeping household helpers is not very common in lower or middle-class families. It is the &#8216;elites&#8217; and &#8216;celebrities&#8217; like Hira Mani herself who assume that all Pakistani women are unable to perform household chores.
