Another episode of Pehli Si Mohabbat<\/em><\/strong> and Aslam and Rakshi continue to make bad choices, this time with Zainab abetting them.<\/p>\n

Rather hypocritical of her to stay in an abusive marriage to keep up appearances while she’s asking Aslam and Rakshi to shrug off all social norms for love. As Zainab plans for the two to elope, she pep talks Rakshi into agreeing to the whole idea.<\/p>\n

“Once you’re what can anyone do about it? Abuse, bashing, beating. You two can endure that.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The pink bangles that marked the beginning of their relationship offer more symbolism as we see Rakshi deliberate whether to wear that last bangle or not.<\/p>\n

The decision weighs heavily on Rakshi. Meanwhile, Aslam has no qualms going through with this. He’s always been the more fearless one of the two, from going after Rakshi to making every effort to stand up for Faizullah.<\/p>\n

Though we do get to see a teary goodbye between Aslam and his mother. He tells his family that he wants to take up Akram’s offer to go out with friends for a while to cheer up. They don’t realize he might be saying goodbye forever.<\/p>\n

The same goes for Rakshi and Faizullah’s teary goodbyes. We see the father-daughter reconcile amid tears. Faizullah remains ignorant of what Rakshi’s teary plea for forgiveness even is.<\/p>\n

Speaking of bad decisions. We see the formidable Nargis waiver. Curiosity got the better of her as she went to meet her ex. Whether for closure or to make her ‘NO’ resonate even more, Nargis did end up going. As usual, we got sass and lesson-filled dialogue.<\/p>\n
