Television personality Mathira has responded to Zara Noor Abbas’ comments on gender equality. The Zebaish<\/em> actress took to her social media to interact with her fans when one of her followers asked her to share her views on the treatment women receive.<\/p>\n

According to the follower, ‘women are belittled at every step of their life’. Zara disagreed and replied:<\/p>\n

“Women are not always belittled but they are repeatedly questioned for their choices in life. Why is that question not standard for men in the corporate worlds?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The star said that women and men are not equal. They both have a separate place. Concluding her statement, she said,<\/p>\n

“Women give birth to another human being. Men can’t do that.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When the screenshots went viral on social media, different publications shared it on their Instagram. Mathira came across one of the posts<\/a>, and replied in the comments. She believes that men and women aren’t build to compete but rather complete each other. She wrote,<\/p>\n

“A man is incomplete without a woman and a woman is incomplete without a man, both are made different for each other\u2019s betterment, not to compete and take brownie points\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
