The rumored cast included names like Deepika Padukone, Madhuri Dixit, Ashwariya Rai Bachman, Parineeti Chopra, Manisha Koirala, and Vidya Balan.<\/p>\n<p>Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to nail period pieces with his grandiose cinematography and opulent costumes. Alia Bhatt has been roped in for the titular role in that endeavor.<\/p>\n<p>It was previously speculated that the Gangubai Kathiavadi biopic and <strong><em>Heeramandi<\/em><\/strong> might be the same project.
