However, Ayeza Khan made the decision to play &#8216;Geeti&#8217; when given the choice.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/sLW2q1U6lMg?t=33\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a> Ayeza Khan opened up about her role as &#8216;<em>Geeti<\/em>&#8216;. The <strong><em>Pyaray Afzal<\/em><\/strong> star opened up about signing<em><strong> Laapata<\/strong><\/em> after the blockbuster <em><strong>Chupke Chupke<\/strong><\/em>. Turns out playing &#8216;<em>Meenu<\/em>&#8216; influenced her decision about Geeti. When given the choice to play either Geeti or Falak, she read the script to decide on a role. After reading the script, she only wanted to play Geeti and didn\u2019t even consider the other role.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0\u201cI was offered the character of both Geeti and Falak by the director and writer. Infact, Khizer told me to read the script and tell him which character I want to play. When I read the script I fell in love with Geeti\u2019s character and then I read the whole script from Geeti\u2019s perspective. I forcefully did it.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The other parallel role of \u2018Falak\u2019 is being essayed by Sarah Khan.
