The duo aims to\u00a0connect to people and help bridge gaps through the traditional music of Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p>Zeb and Shamali have collaborated on this project to provide music that has been crafted in a traditional way. <strong><em>Love <\/em><em>Letters to Kabul\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>is an art memoir of the vibrance and soul of Afghanistan and its stories.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;A performative art experience that will bring alive the spirit of Afghanistan&#8221;.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t<blockquote  \r\n\t\tclass=\"instagram-media\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CTkiOdhjTdn\/\" \r\n\t\tdata-instgrm-version=\"14\" \r\n\t\tstyle=\"max-width:540px; min-width:300px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\r\n\t<\/blockquote>\r\n\t<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\r\n\r\n\t\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The song, <strong><em>Yaar<\/em> <\/strong>was released yesterday which is a &#8216;fresh rendition of a soulful touching Afghani Classic&#8217;. Originally composed by Ustad Ghulam Dastagir Shaida in the mid of 20th Century, Zeb Bangash and Shamali Afghan have added their own touch to the melody.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking with <em>Express Tribune<\/em>, Zeb explained all the details about their rendition.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;There is a bass in there, there are keys in there, and there are certain parts that are modern. It\u2019s a modern sound but it\u2019s been crafted in a traditional way. We needed that original Afghan tabla <em>jhol<\/em> and this Pashtu groove, it\u2019s a very specific groove that only people from Peshawar can get a hang of.
