So when someone was impersonating Ansha Afridi on social media, Shahid Afridi had to intervene. It’s very unfortunate that the veteran cricketer had to take to Twitter to clear the air regarding his daughter’s social media accounts.<\/p>\n
In a tweet<\/a> the cricketer-cum-philanthropist said that he wanted to clarify that none of his daughters have any social media accounts. He further said;<\/p>\n \u201cPlease disregard any \u2018accounts\u2019 or \u2018news\u2019 that are associated with my daughters.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n https:\/\/twitter.com\/SAfridiOfficial\/status\/1455999162160459779<\/p>\n Shahid Afridi also shared a screenshot of a fake social media account of Ansha Afridi.<\/p>\n In today’s day and age, it’s hard to come by people that aren’t on social media. Even people that have regressive ideas about data privacy, have social media accounts with fake names. Which in itself is a problem.<\/p>\n\t\t Some people may go the extra mile and use a public figure’s name for their social media account.<\/p>\n Recently, Pakistani television presenter Hamid Mir landed in hot waters over a verified Facebook page in his name.
