Meera is the famous name of the entertainment industry. She is a Pakistani film actress, model, television presenter, and philanthropist. She made her debut in a Pakistani Urdu film \u201cKanta<\/strong><\/em>\u201d in 1995. But earned nationwide critical acclaim in 1999 for her lead performance in Khilona <\/strong><\/em>(1996\u201397).<\/p>\n

The Khilona<\/em><\/strong> actress began composing poetry, under the pseudonym of Sasri, when she was at school. She is considered to be one of the pioneers of symbolism in Urdu poetry, and especially introducing Free Verse.<\/p>\n

The Baaji<\/em><\/strong> diva<\/a> did not only garner praises for her exceptional acting skills in the country but across the border too. She\u00a0did her first movie in India, named\u00a0Nazar<\/i><\/strong> which had her as the first Pakistani actress to be seen in India as well as it was the beginning of the India Pakistan peace talks. She also did a couple of projects for Bollywood such as Kasak<\/strong>, Paanch<\/strong> Ghantey<\/strong> Mien<\/strong> Paanch<\/strong> Crore<\/strong>, <\/i><\/em>etc.<\/i><\/em><\/p>\n

The starlet is famous for her controversies – be it her spoken English or her scandals she never seems to fade away from the limelight. Recently, the controversial queen made a statement regarding Narendra Modi that stole quite the spotlight.<\/p>\n

She appeared at Waseem Badami\u2019s show Har<\/strong> Lamha<\/strong> Purjosh<\/strong>, <\/em>the host asked her<\/p>\n
