The T20 cricket fever came to a dramatic conclusion this Sunday. For us Pakistanis<\/a>, our journey came to a heartbreaking end in the semi finals against Australia. The final took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium between New Zealand and Australia.<\/p>\n Australia’s cricket team made history on Sunday by clinching their maiden T20 World Cup title in an emphatic fashion. The Aussies put on a clinic, showcasing exemplary batting against a very formidable Kiwi bowling attack. In the end, Australia was easily able to chase down a stiff total of 172.<\/p>\n All-rounder Mitchell Marsh was the star with the bat for Australia, making 77 runs. While David Warner got the Aussies off to a great start, scoring 53 off 38 balls. Marsh was named Player of the Match award while Warner was named \u2018Player of the Tournament’ award.<\/p>\n Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar<\/a> was present at the Dubai International Stadium to witness the final clash between the Trans-Tasmanian final between the Kiwis and the Aussies.<\/p>\n Shoaib took to social media to share his displeasure of a viral video making rounds online. The video has Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis chugging beer from a shoe. The former cricketer said it was a disgusting way of celebrating a historic maiden T20 World Cup victory.
