Pakistani musician Arooj Aftab is contending for two Grammys in the categories ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Global Performance’.<\/p>\n
In the ‘Best New Artist’ category, she is up against acts like Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid Loroi, and Glass Animals, and several others.<\/p>\n
Pakistanis are totally rooting for Arooj, and Fakahr-e-Alam even took to Twitter to show support.<\/p>\n

Jazz musicians Jon Batiste and Bieber are contending for the top prize, ‘Album of the Year’. Their competition includes Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, H.E.R, Kanye West, Tony Bennett, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and newbie Olivia Rodrigo.<\/p>\n
The same artists dominated nominations for ‘Best Record of the Year’. With the 10 nominees including names like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber, and Jon Batiste.
