Maryam Nawaz took to Twitter to clear the air on that and dubbed all the reports as &#8216;fake news&#8217;.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis blatant lie is all over social media. Previously, the family behind the Master Tiles enterprise landed on the Federal Bureau of Revenue&#8217;s (FBR) radar after a grand wedding.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Sharif family\u2019s extravagant wedding events for Junaid Safdar and Aisha Saif garnered a lot of criticism online. Netizens particularly bashed the groom for donning a Rs 3 million shatoosh shawl, which is made from the fur of endangered Tibetan antelopes.<\/p>\n<p>Then there was also unwarranted trolling, as people went after the PML-N Vice for looking her best at her son&#8217;s wedding. To bashing her for singing amid the wedding festivities. Maryam Nawaz was having none of that and called out the haters on Twitter saying;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;My son\u2019s wedding is a private, family affair. &#8230; I, like all mothers, deserve a chance to celebrate the occasion without attracting political commentary.&#8221; She concluded, &#8220;I humbly request media and everyone else to respect the family\u2019s right to privacy.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My son\u2019s wedding is a private,family affair.
