Indian streaming platform ZEE5 is all set to air another Pakistani web series. The ZEE5 original series Mann Jogi<\/em><\/strong> cast Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz in lead roles. Or as we now know it ‘Mrs and Mr Shameem<\/em><\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n

According to a press release, the creators of Mann Jogi<\/em><\/strong> have renamed the web series to Mrs and Mr Shameem<\/em><\/strong>. The title highlights the way a conventional married couple is addressed. directed by noted director Kashif Nisar. We’re expecting some really engaging content that challenges our conventional ideas with this series.<\/p>\n\t\t

The new title is creating even more anticipation, suggesting a unique storyline. Word is that the web series will focus on a couple\u2019s peculiar journey.<\/p>\n

Renowned director Kashif Nisar is at the helm of the project. He’s responsible for delivering several artistic drama serials such as Dumpukht<\/em><\/strong>, Aatish-e-Ishq<\/em><\/strong>, O’ Rangreza<\/em><\/strong>, and more. Meanwhile, Saji Gul penned the script. The playwright is known to create works that raise social issues.<\/p>\n

Confirming the news, Kashif Nisar, the director of the series shared that;<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were contemplating about the title for a while and finally decided to call it Mrs & Mr Shameem. It is a true reflection of the story and depicts a changing outlook among society – one in which the woman plays an equally significant role in a relationship. Saba and Noman have done a fantastic job of bringing the characters Mrs and Mr Shameem to life.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\t\t
